good heavens!

Every so often, I find something that is SO CLEVER, that I just CAN'T get over it!
this is definitely one of those times!
Okay, so I know that anyone with half a brain cell loves vinyl lettering and the likes, but the problem is, its difficult to remove, and then once you do remove it, it is ruined and not reusable...
but these GENIUSES came up with fabric, COMPLETELY REUSABLE wall clings! Not only can they be in decorative designs, but these ones are Dress up Dolls! I want them for my Scarlett! Read the description, you will be blown away! So save your money, and buy these for Scarlett for her birthday this December the 17th! Or sooner, if you are really a saint!

Cue-Morning Music!
Joe got Scarlett out of bed for me, and changed her diaper, but she was looking for me, so he brought her into my room. Apparently she only feels like she can give me her morning demands, the first word out of her mouth to me was " I want treat." I suggested eggs, and she said, "Otay!"
sidenote:
We made eggs yesterday, too, which was the day I finally said to myself, "I may not be able to find my fry pan, but I am determined to make eggs, anyway!" And used a saucepan instead. My friend Brook assured me that she has used one for it before, and that scrambled eggs cook just fine this way as long as you put a little oil in the pan to keep it from sticking. Seriously, I have been craving eggs for a whole month now, so it was about time!
So off we went into the kitchen to make eggs. My eyes still in a haze. She thought the world would end when I wanted to take a quick break to go to the bathroom. I assured her that I was coming right back to make the eggs, but realized she might be too hungry to wait for them so she had a granola bar while litterally standing a foot away watching me make the eggs. She got all excited as I sprinkled the cheese on top, and said, "Cheese! Yummy!"
So I dished up her plate first, and placed it at the counter, and got her drink and put it next to it, and set her up to the counter, as with every bite, it was, "MMM! YUMMY! MMM! Thanks Momma!"
Joe graciously thanked me for his eggs, as he sat at his edit bay working on ANOTHER video... this one, with a SAME DAY deadline. I sat on the couch and ate my eggs, then opened my computer.
I put on this You Tube video of my favorite singer, Badly Drawn Boy, and began to read my email.
I found sweet sweet comments on my last blog posts from my wonderful sister-in-laws. They are such GEMS! Seriously! (And yesterday I had the joy of waking up to read wonderful comments from my Mom and Sister!) Who are these wonderful people, and why do they love me so much? I know not why, but I sure am GLAD! I just beamed as I read their kind words. It is so true, that people have absolutely no idea what an impact a few seconds of their time can have on another.

Bathing in Optimism
So the title of this post made me sound so wise and poetic, but I did actually literally take a bath in my Garden Tub, using B&BW's (bath & body works) Optimism Body wash/foam bath. It was a good opportunity for me to sit and reflect on my day, on random things I have had floating around in my head. After R&R-ing (reading and responding) to my cousin Allyson's very thought provoking blog, I cannot help but reflect on the course of my life, I have not been able to stop thinking, though nothing much comes of it.. which makes me feel a bit like Winnie the Pooh... "Oh, bother."
I signed up to be a Pure Romance Consultant 61 days ago, and with the move, had to shelf the endeavor until I could get a little more settled, but, I am ready and rearing to go now! Of course we sell more than bath bubbles, lotions and shaving cream; We also sell pretty much anything you need (from educational literature, to various other items) to help put the "O" back in your Romance! The other great thing about online orders, is let's face it, a lot of people like to be very private and discreet about their "intimate needs", which is what is so wonderful about website orders, because I don't even see what you ordered. Of course, if you do have questions feel free to call or email me, and I would be happy to get back to you right away.
Getting back to Optimism though, this afternoon I was feeling a bit down, as a lot of people around the world are, so what did I do? I called my Mom. The first thing I said, after "hello", and "I'm fine", was, "Well Mom, Tell me something good." Thinking about the good sure helps me feel better. Also thinking about how my struggles and challenges are SO MINOR in comparison to those who really have it tough. I love my Mom, so much. I am so greatful for her positive insight, and for her great suggestions on how to brave the storms of life. She is so wonderful to me, and virtually flawless in every way I can think of. Most of all, I love her for always loving me, no matter what I choose to do in my life, and lovingly nudges me, back toward the things she knows in her heart will make me happiest.
I think that it is a Positive and Uplifting thing, to sit down and think of all that is GOOD in our lives, and in the world, and to show our Gratitude and love to those who help give us those things.
Thanks, Mom.
Thank you to all of my loyal readers who leave me loving and encouraging sentiments on my blog.
Thanks to my sweet sisters who call me practically every day, even though my odd sleeping schedule makes that task more daunting.
Thanks to my loving husband, who would give me the shirt off his back, the blood from his veins, and every single hair on his head (even if they wouldn't grow back), and probably even the heart from his chest (yes that thought be inspired by tonight's episode of Grey's Anatomy) to make me happy.
Thanks, Scarlett, for being so sweet and beautiful, and funny, that you can just say pretty much anything, and melt my heart, and make me smile. I am so very very grateful for you.
I also want to thank the good Lord for continuing to help my little family survive, and have the things we need, and help me remember all the things that I really don't. I am SURE he reads my blog too, even if he can't show up on my hit counter.

Okay, okay.
So, It has been a while since my last post, but really, not much has happened since my last update. I have taken a couple of pictures with my cell phone, so I am going to post those... and give some mini-updates in the process!
Joe is doing good. Doesn't he look totally hot in this picture ?? he looked even hotter in person this day... and isn't that an excellent haircut?? I did it myself, I have mad skills.. He has been keeping very busy between work and endless phonecalls, it seems like he never TRULY gets a day off. I am hoping that the remainder of this week will be less busy, as he worked ALL DAY Sunday and Monday. Monday he didn't even get home until 11:30. Now, an hour later, he is already sound asleep on the couch. ::sighs::
Scarlett is doing really well. People ask me all the time how she is adapting to the changes and move, and Honestly, I think this picture speaks for itself.. she looks pretty happy, don't you think? Normally, I don't just let my child wander around in a diaper, but this was actually just moments after I had changed her, and she was enjoying the brief reprieve from pants. She has had pretty bad diaper rash the past two days, anyone know any great remedy for that, it is pretty sad! Thanks, Grandma Rita Rawlins for the red rocking chair, and the yellow headband in her hair.
As for me, the move has been bittersweet. Easter was hard for me, I willingly admit. I hate the feeling that I am missing out on something. As for the day-to-day, I need to get out there and be more social, make some friends, or at least make the effort to attend a ward, but that is easier said than done for me. I am not an early riser, nor am I the most well behaved person, so I have a hard time feeling like church is the place for me, but I am trying to find a better attitude on the subject. I would really like to find some good young girls who want to babysit my adorable 2 year old for less than $15/hr though, because that is just ridiculous to me...
We did take turns seeing a movie a week or so back, but I got lost, which made my experience a bit less fun. Hopefully next time I won't get lost. Lots of good movies look to be coming out soon, so I am excited about that, maybe I will get to see one. :)

The Irvine Spectrum
Well, my lovelies, you knew it was only a matter of short time until I found the nearest mall to my new home. I found it, and I must say it was love at first (and second) sight.
I got a little lost but the detour sent me just to the side of the mall that I wanted in the end, which was sheer luck! My Husband should have known better than to send me to the mall to buy a wireless airport from the Apple store at the mall. There was an Old navy right in front of me and I couldn't resist, so I went inside. My poor california daughter had no swimsuit for this year, so I had to fix that. This is the suit I got for only $7:
, then I bought her some little jogging pants to put on after she gets out for the walk back to our townhouse from the pool/beach, and a fun cover-up shirt. Then I went to look for pics of these items to put on my blog and found this cute suit for only $4.99, so at least now we have the swimsuits taken care of for miss Scarlett.
So, it is taking all I have not to rush back to the mall and spend more money. I am trying my best to resist this temptation. I never really understood until now how women can just spend all of their husband's moneys so easily.. but that mall... it is beautiful.
Scarlett's language has again abounded. She told me for the first time "I love you SOOO much!" She also can repeat just about anything you teach her. She is also just getting more and more beautiful by the moment, and SO TALL... which is crazy to me.
I know that if I had to move out here without my husband and baby, I would die. No questions asked.
love you all, and thanks for keeping track of me, and my silly blog.

Welcome Back, Molly!
So just a few short hours ago, a saintly man--well maybe he was just your average Cox Technician but his acts were saintly--came and connected my cable and internet.
Words cannot express how happy I am to be back on the internet, and with Noggin on the TV for Scarlett's viewing pleasure. Scarlett's new love besides her dear old mom, is Diego.

I think she wishes he was real about as much as I wished Trent from Daria was real as a teenager. :)

Pretty much quick update is as follows:
First week in the house: consisted of sleeping on the floor with scarlett, with no furniture the first 4 nights, with only one blanket and one pillow, which I gave to Scarlett... and froze. Luckily, Joe finally was able to come with the stuff, and having couches and a bed is a blessing I will never again take for granted.
The next one to almost two weeks: We have gotten more settled. I am trying to help us eat at home more. We are trying to eat all our dinners at home, and Scarlett and I are trying to eat our other meals here as well. Our savings are going to be immense, and I am living through the change and adjusting rather well.
The weather here is beautiful. We love the Woodbury community we live in. I love having so many stores and such so close. I havent had to buy gas in 2 weeks and still have half a tank. It rocks, I won't lie.
That brings us to today. This morning a lovely little package arrived on my front doorstep, from Joe's Mom, Rita. It really brightened my day. The purpose for the package was his dad sending a few books to Joe, but Rita put in a cute little outfit and headbands for Scarlett. Here are a couple pics of Scarlett in her new outfit.

also in the package, she put some beautiful re-usable shopping bags. I didnt even realize that was what they were at first because they were so beautiful, that I want to use them as accessories. I found a picture of one of them online. I would take a picture myself, but I cant find my camera charger and cable yet. The two pics above are from my cell phone emailed to myself and then posted.. sighs.
I will post more later, I am sure, as now the internet has returned to my life, bringing with it a state of constant bliss :)
