Well, my lovelies, you knew it was only a matter of short time until I found the nearest mall to my new home. I found it, and I must say it was love at first (and second) sight.
I got a little lost but the detour sent me just to the side of the mall that I wanted in the end, which was sheer luck! My Husband should have known better than to send me to the mall to buy a wireless airport from the Apple store at the mall. There was an Old navy right in front of me and I couldn't resist, so I went inside. My poor california daughter had no swimsuit for this year, so I had to fix that. This is the suit I got for only $7:
, then I bought her some little jogging pants to put on after she gets out for the walk back to our townhouse from the pool/beach, and a fun cover-up shirt. Then I went to look for pics of these items to put on my blog and found this cute suit for only $4.99, so at least now we have the swimsuits taken care of for miss Scarlett.
So, it is taking all I have not to rush back to the mall and spend more money. I am trying my best to resist this temptation. I never really understood until now how women can just spend all of their husband's moneys so easily.. but that mall... it is beautiful.
Scarlett's language has again abounded. She told me for the first time "I love you SOOO much!" She also can repeat just about anything you teach her. She is also just getting more and more beautiful by the moment, and SO TALL... which is crazy to me.
I know that if I had to move out here without my husband and baby, I would die. No questions asked.
love you all, and thanks for keeping track of me, and my silly blog.

LOVE THE SWIMSUITS!!!!
Love that you're a HOTT Cali mommy!!!
I'm glad you're alive and well, and that you're assimilating nicely into California life. Sigh... I'd like to be there, too!
I understand about the mall thing. Beautiful malls are some much more enjoyable to walk around in...and so much more tempting to spend money in.
Love those suits, especially the second one.
Molly,
The letters above Maggies bed I made. Well, I mean, I went to Target, bought those frames, they were about 4 bucks a piece, then I went to a friend with a vinyl letter machine and we created the letters. Apply to the glass (hot glued into the frame) and boom, ya got a name. The bows on top are just hot glued on as well. Glad you like it, I was happy with it myself. Still need to do Max', but haven't gottten around to it.
Glad you are settling in well and making it home. Enjoy California!
It comes as no surprise to me you have located the mall. Love the swim suits. Miss you little California girls...
