"Teen-up, Teen-up, teen-up, self... Teen-up, Teen-up, Teen-up by self"
(repeat over and over again)
She dumps her crayon box and puts the crayons back in as she sings.
This is Scarlett's rendition of the "Clean-up" song.
More recent interests include: Coloring with a crayon in BOTH hands. She is so talented when it comes to drawing and coloring. I can see all kinds of cool things in her drawings. She adds a new color and says, "Thats Better!"
So, Monday we made the drive over. We finally made it onto the road by about 1pm, it is pretty much directly west about 6 hours on the I-10 to here.
The first 2 days of house hunting were both futile and frustrating. We wanted to just give up, and I just wanted to go back home. But luckily yesterday we found a place in Woodbury Place which is a complex in one of the Irvine sub communities. It is beautiful, and Joe's work is willing to loan him the money for the GIGANTIC deposit due to our lack of positive credit, and first months rent. I am very grateful to them for that, and even more glad to think that next week we will be in a very nice townhome, that is only 2 years old in a safe and BEAUTIFUL community.
It has lots of amenities including a 24hour fitness center, and within walking distance to a shopping center. Woodbury even has its own Elementary School. I feel like we can truly be happy and grow here. I love you all, and miss you more than words can express. That is my update. Joe will probably be flying back tomorrow or the next day to gather our belongings, helping his brother pack up the truck, and then driving the Jaguar he bought from our friend Paul back here. Even if I have to sleep on the nice lush, thick carpeted floor of my new bedroom with no furniture, I will be happy.

One Week
That's Right, Ladies and Gents. In One Week I will be moving... and I have to admit I am nervous, and uneasy. I wish I could just take everyone with me, but that is not really possible. :(![]()
I love you all. Try and meet up with me this week sometime! If I dont answer the call (due to me not having your number) text messaging is always a great idea!
There is not much more I can think of to say, except I love you ALL!

Nicknames
RatalieNose has done it again, and I have copied her once again. This time, its Nicknames.
Over the course of my life, I have had many nicknames.

This Little Red Caboose image (from here), does seem to somehow make the nickname seem far more fitting... odd...
Being from the generation I am, The Sandlot, was so influential to us growing up. It wasnt that we were obsessed with baseball by any means. perhaps it was just our love of Dogs, or the enchanting excitement surrounding a true bond of friendship, but we loved it, and must have watched it over and over.
"You're Killing Me Smalls!"
(image from here)In junior High, I had a friend named Brent Petrie, who was extremely good at making up nicknames, and at the time I only had the Caboose that I hated, and the occasional "Smalls" reference, so I decided it was time for him to make up a nickname for me. So he did, and here was his line of thought:
"Molly.... Rhymes with Polly... Polly want a cracker... Ritz Crackers... I'll call you Ritz"

"Molly.... rhymes with Polly... Polly Pocket, so I'll call you Pocket."

(adorable picture and article from here)

This is my Sister Sarah and her best friend, Jamie. They have been best friends since before I was born. They are two of the most wonderful people you could ever meet, and together, they are SOOOO MUCH FUN. Before Sarah got married, they were roommates for a while, and during that time, I spent a lot of time with them, which is such a precious memory for me. I was wishing I could find a picture of us together from that time, but I don't feel like digging that much, plus, they both look awesome in the image above. During that time, we developed nicknames for each other, and mine were MF (for moldy fart) dont ask... and Mollis, which has stuck.
(Image from here)I realized I left out Joe's nickname for me, so I decided to come back in and add it. He likes to call me Molly Dolly. I have to admit, this always makes me think of the "Big Comfy Couch". It can't be helped...
