Finally, something to say..

"Teen-up, Teen-up, teen-up, self... Teen-up, Teen-up, Teen-up by self"
(repeat over and over again)

She dumps her crayon box and puts the crayons back in as she sings.

This is Scarlett's rendition of the "Clean-up" song.

More recent interests include: Coloring with a crayon in BOTH hands. She is so talented when it comes to drawing and coloring. I can see all kinds of cool things in her drawings. She adds a new color and says, "Thats Better!"

So, Monday we made the drive over. We finally made it onto the road by about 1pm, it is pretty much directly west about 6 hours on the I-10 to here.

The first 2 days of house hunting were both futile and frustrating. We wanted to just give up, and I just wanted to go back home. But luckily yesterday we found a place in Woodbury Place which is a complex in one of the Irvine sub communities. It is beautiful, and Joe's work is willing to loan him the money for the GIGANTIC deposit due to our lack of positive credit, and first months rent. I am very grateful to them for that, and even more glad to think that next week we will be in a very nice townhome, that is only 2 years old in a safe and BEAUTIFUL community.

It has lots of amenities including a 24hour fitness center, and within walking distance to a shopping center. Woodbury even has its own Elementary School. I feel like we can truly be happy and grow here. I love you all, and miss you more than words can express. That is my update. Joe will probably be flying back tomorrow or the next day to gather our belongings, helping his brother pack up the truck, and then driving the Jaguar he bought from our friend Paul back here. Even if I have to sleep on the nice lush, thick carpeted floor of my new bedroom with no furniture, I will be happy.

Oh wow! I'm so glad you made it alive and well.

A jaguar? As in, JAGUAR jaguar? Fancy! Anyway, I've always thought I should've been a California girl, which means you are now living my dream. Congratulations. : )

Lost- thanks :) glad to be ok.

Wendy- I know, it is difficult to even wrap my own head around it all! But it really is a great place. I feel like I have definitely stepped up the "class" ladder... but keep waiting for the ladder to fall over, and to land on my head... i guess good things DO happen to good people.

Camille-wow... living your dream.. makes me feel so honored! Oddly enough we got a SPECTACULAR deal on the Jaguar, from his ex boss/friend for HALF the blue book price, and it is in MINT condition. The Jaguar hood ornament ready to "leap" onto its prey, is well, awesome, I won't lie. :)

thank you all for your comments
