So today I made two of my little paper stars into a hair thingy by poking 2 holes in them and sticking a bobby pin through :) The stars were too small to be hung anywhere but I liked them so much that I just had them sitting on my nightstand until inspiration sprung!

fun and free
I've decided to fill in the decorative gaps with paper cut stars. I found a package of glitter construction paper at the 99cent only store along with some curling ribons, and am having a ball. Found this website, that shows you ho
w to cut 6 pointed stars. Thought I'd share the fun. Will post pictures once I'm done... Sadly I don't have any scotch tape so am at a standstill now... I guess I'll go color in my new 99cent coloring book while Scarlett takes a nap. my life is sooo entertaining!

World Market
This week as been fairly uneventful. However, Yesterday I discovered my new favorite store! It is called Cost Plus World Market!
So after entering this store, I realized that I want EVERYTHING inside. Yes, its true. They have the CUTEST Ornaments, furniture, jewelry, handbags, towels, lamps, decorative touches, just anything and everything. I wish I could win the lottery so I could go buy everything in the store!

Tagged again
Believe it or not, I've been tagged again! This time by Mom of 3. I am going to steal a cute thing from Jen's page that explains it, but I just don't have any people left to tag at the end.
Here goes:
1. I can't roller skate or roller blade. I am too uncoordinated for that.
2. I love bargain shopping, especially thrift stores, swap meets and dollar stores.
3. My biggest pet peeve is when a person REFUSES to load their dishes in to an empty dishwasher! It takes just as long as rinsing it and leaving it in the SINK!
4. I love purses. There is something very comforting about having a really cute purse or diaper bag. I just can't explain it. But my newest rule is that I don't pay more than $20 for any purse or bag, because lets face it, they all end up destroyed and practically disposable, so why waste the money?
5. I am an EXCELLENT Christmas shopper. I can go to the mall for 2 hours and get gifts for everyone on my list.. And they are perfect gifts not just hodge podge generic gifts. It is my niche in life, and I would love to one day be a personal shopper.
6. I have anxiety the entire time I am away from my baby, and I have to at least text or call one time while I am out EVERY time I leave her somewhere, which is not often.
7. Naptime is my favorite time of day.
Thanksgiving dinner.
Yesterday we had Thanksgiving Dinner at my parents' house. They are leaving for Mexico to be gone on the actual Thanksgiving, so my Mom decided to still have the meal, just early. I am not sure what our plans for actual turkey day will be. I am hoping maybe we can get together with his sister or something, spend more time with family.
This morning, Joe was nice enough to get up with the baby at 8 and then put her down for her morning nap, and now he is off to go pick us up some breakfast. Then we are going to watch Alpha Dogs on DVD. We haven't seen it yet. Last night at one of those Hollywood Video kiosks they were selling Previously viewed DVD's for super cheap. We got a movie for a friend of Joe's for $4, and a couple other movies all at great prices. We also got Music and Lyrics. I am excited to watch that one again. I really liked it.
I am ready to start decorating for Christmas. This year EVEN EARLIER than last. Last year we bought a real tree (10 feet tall) on the 5th of December, and by Christmas, it was DEAD. I had never had a real tree before in my life, so I certainly didn't know how to take care of it, or how much I had to water it. Joe already wants to buy a fake tree for this year, but I don't. I think maybe we'll get a slightly smaller tree, but I would still like Scarlett to be able to experience real trees in her life, plus I LOVE the smell. Last year, every day I felt like I was waking up in a forest of Pine trees. I loved it.
I think I'll get up and do a quick pick up before Joe gets back from bringing breakfast. All my love, to you my blog readers.

Christmas is coming!
I am actually going to post a cute list of things that I want, just so they can be found if people want to know, lol.
1) A cute little Stocking Stuffer Idea: e.l.f. (eyes lips face) cosmetics, just came out with these cute new candy shop lip gloss tins, they look super fun, and easy and safe to carry around in the purse. Only $2 each. (picture links to website)2) Here are a couple CD's on my Christmas/ Birthday list:
Sarah Mclachlan's "Afterglow" album
4) I love and want stuff from the Gap RED collection. I am all for the cause, but too broke to buy the products, but maybe someone could catch them on sale?! And I love the baby stuff from the RED collection too, for Scarlett. (my size xxl, scarlett size 24mos)

5) The "Live with intention" 2008 Calendar (man, it took me a long time to find this online, cause I couldnt remember what it was called, only what it looked like! lol)

6) A down comforter for our bed. HOLY CRAP, DID YOU KNOW THEY'RE LIKE $500?!?! THATS CRAZINESS!!
Now it never hurt anyone to have a wish list, so if you dare, gather together a wish list of your own, and post it so everyone can see it! :) love to all!
I am blessed
Last night, my Mom and 2 sisters came over, watched Scarlett and cleaned my house from top to bottom while Joe and I got to go out to dinner BABY FREE, and see a movie. I feel almost unworthy of the service. I dont feel as though I do enough, to deserve the service I receive, but it was so nice, waking up this morning, making my baby a bottle in my clean kitchen, playing on my clean rug with her, looking around and seeing order instead of chaos. All I can say is a Million "Thank you"'s, and that I will always be there for them when they need me to help. I love them so much, I truly have 3 best friends right there.
OTHER GREAT NEWS: I've lost 7 lbs this week. I've cut Dr Pepper from my life, and the results are SLIMMING! I can really feel a difference already, but you probably wouldn't believe me when I tell
you that reducing my carbonation intake has reduced my appetite exponentially! There was a time, when I could eat THREE Cheese Enchiladas, and yesterday when we went, I could only eat HALF of ONE! For those of you who have never had an extreme weight problem, this is probably dull, but to me it is miraculous. And last night Joe and I ended up having our main course boxed up at Olive Garden because we were so full on salad and mushrooms. I guess I do have my vomiting day to thank for 4 of the lbs, but oh well, I think this weight is just going to keep coming off, and I am very happy about that!
