BOWS

Yea horray! Today my sister in law Nikki Shumway and I went over to Kimmy's house and learned how to make baby bows!! it was so much fun! I now have 5 cute bows for my little Scarlett's head!

I fed Scarlett squash last night before we came home from Wendy's house and Scarlett slept through the night great last night, that was a BLESSING.

My dearest friend Janice is in the hospital in urgent care. I am so very concerned for her. In a little bit here Joe will be back and I am going to go spend some time with her. My sister Wendy just called me and said that she looks really bad, and that I'll cry when I see her. I don't doubt it. I just know that she would want me to be there to keep her company, just as I would want her there for me. Its at times like these that I am reminded how fragile and valuable life is. I want to take better care of myself so that I can always be here for my beautiful baby girl.

Our little Scarlett

Scarlett sat in a Restaurant high chair for the first time last Friday, and she did great. To the right here is a picture of her in the chair at Serranos.

Last night Scarlett woke up twice in the night just hungry. This is not like her. I need to get my rear in gear and give her more foods. I have the food and everything I just have to sit her in her chair and feed her several times a day. It doesnt SOUND very difficult, now does it? Has to beat waking up at 4 am to feed her. Im bored. I had ramen noodles for lunch, and now I just have that sodium overdose taste overwhelming my mouth. yummy. Well I gotta go make Scarlett a bottle and brush my teeth. I do hope that someone reads this thing, not that I have much interesting to say...

HAIRCUT!

Yes, yes, its true. I got a haircut Saturday afternoon and I'll just let you see for yourself.. :)


(given these are pictures I took this morning having not done any thing to my hair, but I had to try out this cool photobooth thing on our new Macbook. Its pretty rad, and then Iphoto comes in to fix the exposure in this poorly lit room.)

I sort of got the idea that most people dont like my haircut... which is sad.. but I like it. No more hair in my face! No more hair on my neck, HOORAY!

My sister Sarah, also got here on Saturday night from Seattle, and they will be moving into their house on FRIDAY.. Whats funny, is that we should start moving the day after tomorrow, and I dont have a single box packed, I am SUCH a procrastinator! My plan has been to just try to clean everything up so it will be easier to pack when we do. Gosh, last time we moved I was 7 months pregnant and I had more energy to move than I do now. funny funny stuff. So leave me some love. I sort of got the idea that most people dont like my haircut... which is sad.. but I like it.

Scarlett is trying to pull the blanket she is laying on right up over her head, the silly nut. I just love her. Hope you are all having a great day.

We're MOVING

We are moving to the SYMPHONY apartments located on Frye just west of Dobson in Chandler. We can begin moving in on the 1st of August, and will have until the 20th to be out of our current place. It is a little nicer area and definitely a nicer complex with better amenities, plus its closer to Joe's work, so he has been talking about getting a bike and riding to work (Germann and Price). We'll see how that goes. We are also going to borrow against Joes 401k at work so that we can get into a much better car TBA as to when and what, but that little dream is what helps me deal with our car that has no A/C at the moment.

thats a mini update, and all for now, except that I am SOOO excited that my sister Sarah is moving back to the valley! I cant wait to hang out with her all the time :) Its only a few days away now.

Joe will also be going out of town next weekend for work, so Scarlett and I will be holding down the home front, and in the meanwhile Joe is working LOTS of overtime. Today he didnt even get to take a lunchbreak, which means neither did I. oh well, its just food. haha. Scarlett is making all kinds of funny noises in her crib so I suppose this means naptime is over. thats all for now I suppose.

Intro to US

My name is Molly Shumway Rawlins. I am 22 years old, and am a mother of one. I graduated from Westwood High School in 2003. I enjoy movies, fashion magazines, myspace, shopping, writing, art, TV game shows, HGTV shows, and spending time with my husband and daughter.






This is my husband Joe. He works very hard to support us and is a wonderful dad to our daughter. He also loves movies, and aspires to someday be a movie maker himself. He has written many scripts, novels etcetera. He also enjoys reading books and researching current events and topics that peak his interest. He is my favorite person.





This is our daughter, Scarlett Paige. She is so beautiful as you can see. She loves to play with toys, and lay on the floor. She likes to roll from side to side, and can now roll over from her tummy to her back with ease. She loves to smile for her mom and dad but can sometimes take a while to warm up to those she sees less often. She was born on December 17th, the day after my birthday, and is 7.5 months old. we love her SO MUCH.

I really dont know what I am doing, but I really wanted to find a cool code for my special blog and we're going to see if it worked now. :)
